Congrats on the new 7.0 stable!
A while ago there was a post about UI colors and contrast ratios, but I cannot find it right now.
Can the colors for missing dependencies be improved? The muted red on medium grey is almost impossible to read without getting close to my monitor and squinting at the screen:
I think it has to do with how the text is rendered with antialiasing:
Either way the contrast between the 2 colors is way too low for good accessibility, as you can see here:
I think the red just needs to be a lot lighter on the dark background and then a darker red for light mode. I don’t think you will find a red that works on both light and dark backgrounds equally.
I think you should aim to pass at least AA level for normal text, which would be around 4.5:1 or higher:
