Was cleaning up the pc, and found that i have reasonable amount of vvvv versions.
Feats a copiloted PowerShell script to batch uninstall vvvv’s
vvvv-uninstaller.zip (2.0 KB)
You need to run as admin
Scans for vvvv versions, the you can select in list witch one to uninstall

@seltzdesign you need to change the execution policy I guess. Try:
Set-ExecutionPolicy unrestricted
Alternatively you find that if you search for “Developer ” in
“Settings ”
Still nothing, even after restart and with the option enabled:
Probably just some dumb Windows 11 thing as usual..
Looks like setting it thru the Settings is not sufficient:
Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted
As Bjorn suggested… You need to do it in admin powershell
https://superuser.com/questions/106360/how-to-enable-execution-of-powershell-scripts This seems to have more options.. Also this option known to be perky e.g. windows might override it after startup.
It was a little more difficult, but one of the answers on superuser: https://superuser.com/a/1121785 had the information to make it work:
Now I get:
Sadly there is still issue with silent uninstall it asks to click Ok every time, if any one kin to fix, post it here, and I will make a proper repo for that script, and second issue there is some leftover in c:/Program Files/vvvv/ seems when uninstallation happens it leaves original folder in place… dunno too, need to investigate…
Like might @Elias needs to correct something, right now after uninstallation i see bunch of empty folders:
Yeah, I was thinking the same. Some way to silently uninstall would be good.
Maybe it could become part of GammaLauncher down the line. It would kind of make sense. What do you think @sebescudie ?
Yep, often thought about it, will create an issue for it :-)
