Unable to insert a new line (Shift+Enter) in a pin

Unable to insert a line break (Alt+Enter) in Pin.

Previously, this was possible:

  1. Start editing the value in Pin
  2. Enter the value, use Alt+Enter to move to the next line
  3. Edit the next line

But now multi-line input is impossible due to the ‘confirmation’ of input when pressing Alt+Enter (apparently Enter interrupts the input). This is inconvenient because a separate IOBox is now required for multi-line input.

Also Shift-Enter if you dont mean that. Running into this everytime i want to split strings by new line and cant just type it into the separator pin.

@tgd yep, something like this, muscle memory. It was changed recently

Yep, being able to SHIFT + Enter when editing a pin was nice to format strings with the Format node!

Can we have that back please?
