Things with strings

i am searching to do things with strings but i have some problem so i ask some suggest.

i am searching to do this:

1)print a text letter by letter in the render
2)select some words while are printed.
3)link a texture to every letters of the word that i selected.

the point 1 is ok, for the others two i tried with match and RegExper node but nothing of clear.

some suggest?

use sift for selecting words. or check out Regular Expression documentation its in general extremely good to know about Regular Expression
