Why is Text (EX9) being transparent the way it is… I Assume it has something to do with the depthbuffer but still an explanation of how to deal with the need to do things like this would be nice.

Yes it answers my question… I think.
I can see that transparency digs deep in 3D, at least if you need to think about it :)
