when i connect the sift input to the subpatch, it’s output becomes NIL.
the subpatch doesn’t do anything fancy, just a static calculation of the numbers you see in the input box, they’re always the same…
what am i missing? :(

it might have something to do with precision, the IOBoxes do some rounding to display the numbers. try a very small value at the epsilon pin of the Sift node.

i tried .0001 epsilon, it works.
i don’t understand the problem though… doesn’t the ‘rounding’ occur in both IOboxes? …
also why would there be any rounding, it’s only numbers with one digit after the decimal point…
