Kinect1 Node turning red when hovering over it

Hey guys,

I have a strange problem when trying to use a Kinect1 in VVVV. I installed the Runtime 1.8 and trying to use the Kinect Microsoft DX9 Node but when I hover over it or try to use it, it turns red. The TTY Debug Message reads:
00:00:55 ERR : Exception occured in TMPluginWrapperNode.Evaluate
00:00:55 ERR : Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Any Idea whats causing this? Thanks

hm… can you confirm that the device is working on this machine with some non-vvvv test app?

also please keep an eye on this work-in-progress which could soon be an alternative to test…
