How to keep vvvv running but can do nothing with it in the same time?

By closing beta26 with ctrl-W we see dialog menu with 3 options:
Open Patch / New Patch / Quit

Choose Open Patch, than select Cancel in opened system window - here is vvvv running and stable but you can do nothing with it. By clicking Cancel is better to close vvvv or back to dialog menu.
