I want to manually draw a vector field around my geometry to use it with particles dx11.
what is your favourite weapon of choice? If not possible in 3D it could also be a 2d vield copied on the Z axis.

the paintmesh patch does not work for me, but within the field trip contribution is this very nice vector brush which does exactly what I want. Girlpower/FieldSpecimens/FT_2D_Flow_Editor
vectoraygen looks interesting - not overloaded and very streamlined expecially for this task,
but did not work on my system :/ particles did not move. will give it a try again.
