Thanks for pointing this out, a fix is upcomming.
NOTE: the fix changes the behavior slightly for all ioboxes: while ctrl+x on non-spread ioboxes lead to resetting the value to its default, it now simply discards the input (as if you typed something that cannot be parsed for the type). so now resetting an iobox to its default is only possible via ALT+rightclick.
