Clevo Spec Laptop Musings

Hello,

I’m just about to drop some cash on a new notebook and was looking for some opinions on specifications on a budget.

I’m down to a couple of options from http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk

(1)
PCS Vortex II (Clevo P150HM)
i3-2310m
nVidia GTX460M with 1.5GB RAM
4GB RAM

(2)
PCS Optimus II (Clevo W150HN)
i7-2360
nVidia GT555M with 2GB RAM
8GB RAM

I’m mainly interested in using SSAO, HDR, Soft Shadows and lots of passes in post. The maximum resolution I will be working in is 1280x720

Just wondering how these specifications might balance out.

I am already experiencing buyers remorse for an item I have yet to purchase :o(
