Attractor circles

Hi, I want moving 2D circles to be attracted to a stationary object when they are close to it and stay there for a certain amount of time. I have tried something with the attractor, but am not really getting anywhere. Is the attractor the right node for this or is there something else?

i’m afraid from your description and patch it is not really clear to me what you’re looking for and what problem you’re facing.

@apc If you are looking for particles and a particle attractor, you should explore Fuse and its abundant library of examples. This is probably what you are looking for.

What you are using now is a mathematical model and has to do with solving mathematical problems.

I think Fuse might be a bit overkill.
Maybe check out VL.Animation.ParticleSystem:
