confirmed with 6.7 but seems to work with latest 7.0 previews.
the problem seems to be the referenced Kinect2 package: as long as it is not installed at all, the patch shows tooltips. as i installed the package, the tooltips were no longer showing as you described. looking in the Log, i saw an error about a missing file in the log which makes sense as i didn’t have the prerequisites installed. upon installing those and restarting vvvv, the tooltips show again.
