Documentation editor blinks when interacting with a patch

Hey there,

It’s super convenient to have the Documentation (CTRL + M) window docked when doing some cleanups/documentation in a project, but soon as you interact with the patch it goes into epileptic blinking mode, which is a bit distracting :-)

Repro steps :

  • Open VVVV
  • Press CTRL + M to bring up the (docked) Documentation window
  • Move a node

Hey,

On the current preview (7.0-0374), the Documentation window flashes every time you type a character in the Remarks section, which makes it a nightmare to document nodes.

Can this get some love please?

thanks for your patience! obviously the documentation editor deserves a full rework, but in the meantime:

  • the first one is not entirely gone but flickering is now down from “unusable” to “still annoying”
  • the Remarks section is also still flickers, but now only when adding a new line
