Vvvv on macs without windows?

Hi there,

has anyone tried (and maybe succeeded) in using vvvv on a mac without windows installed?
i tried with wine (http://www.winehq.org).
it looked very promising with some of its modifications (http://winebottler.kronenberg.org or http://wineskin.doh123.com) and it could maybe work if the AddFlow ActiveX registry, which the crack.exe demands for vvv to work, could be somehow activated.
maybe it will not have the full performance as run in bootcamp for example but it would save you the additional installation of a bootloader or virtual machine and the operating system itself.

by the way. is there a BIG difference in performance if i run vvvv in win7 on a virtual machine or “native” with bootcamp?

BIG is not enough :P

i mean, you can patch and do some basic stuff, but forget about a acelerated render.

i have a deep question about virtualisation, is possible to dedicate a usb from a mac to a virtual machine ONLY ? i know that is possible to make a lan between bouth machines, the real one and the virtual one, so OSC messages shoud work, im intresting in using a virtual machine with xp over osx to use freestyler and a Enter USB ( not the pro one ) … i shoud try…
