Using multiple IP cameras in Gamma?

Hi!
I am trying to use 2 (or more) IP cameras in vvvv - but I am neither sure if it is possible nor how to do it - so any help is much appreciated!

I would like to use 2 Android-smartphones as IP cameras via the App “IP camera” ( Download IP Webcam APKs for Android - APKMirror ). As an output it offers a network address, which can be opened e.g. in VLC player. This is the last thing I managed to get working - every attempt to get the network stream into vvvv gamma did not work…

I have found two forum threads, which seem to be relevant for my question:

and

What would be at the moment the easiest way to get the two streams into gamma? Via VLC player using 2 instances and then NDI? (Is this possible? Following the advice in the forum threads I did not get it to work - but I am new to NDI and probably made a lot of mistakes trying to set it up…). Or using the network addresses directly in gamma somehow? Or something completely different?

Thank you very much in advance,

all the best!

That IP camera app is completely infested with trackers and adds…

Played a bit with Android IP Camera (free and open source) and it seems to work quite nicely with VL.CEF.

Wow, thank you very much! It works like a charm! :-)

And thank you as well for pointing to the alternative IP camera app!
