Using HDR brightness for SDR content

hi all,

Is my assumption correct that HDR mode uses a higher max brightness than SDR mode? If so - would it be possible to force the display into HDR while remapping my SDR colours to achieve a higher overall brightness?

@tebjan I could not find the HDR plugin you showed in the last vvvv meetup. is it already available somewhere online?
