Urgent newbie help, keyboard as trigger

Hello, first post here. Sorry for the urgent notification but I’ll need this tomorrow.

I am a PD user, things work a bit differently in vvvv and this causes a mess in my head.

I want to trigger an IObox to send continious 1’s upon pressing space key, and want to trigger it again to send 0’s. So I want something to happen when I press space, and to stop it when I press space again.

I use the Keyboard object(or node as you call it :) ) it send’s it’s key code(32) when I press space but sends another 0 when I depress the key.

What I want is ridiculously simple, I know but I can’t make it.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Kalle helps me yesterday for the same problem with a Midi key, I’ve just replaced midinote by keyboard(system global).
Try patch attached, it might be what you’re looking for
