Udp source port

for commanding a hardware device, udp has to come from a specific port
how can the udp source/bind port be controlled ?
could a port forwarding app help ?

in mp.essentials there’s a UDP node for vvvv where you can specify the local port too. for VL read about UdpClient UdpClient Class (System.Net.Sockets) | Microsoft Learn
