Switching theme, with Export dialog docked on the right, causes all panels to be hidden

I had to switch the theme a few times, as I prefer to work in dark mode, but for screenshots, which need to be printed, I am switching to the light theme.

I noticed in 6.7-0290 and the latest 7.0-0005, that switching the theme causes all the windows to disappear. If you press a shortcut like Ctrl-F3 to open the previously open Global Channels window, it will show, but still in the old theme. The only remedy is restarting the editor, but then it has already saved the layout without any of the docked windows and you have to set it all up again.

Started in light mode with windows set up how I like them:

After switching back to dark theme it briefly doesn’t respond:

I manually opened the GlobalChannel browser using the shortcut, but its still in light mode:

After restarting the color theme is correct, but now only the GlobalChannel window is still there, not the original setup:

Thanks for fixing!

I did some more testing. It doesn’t always do it. If I have the windows in their default positions, switching works fine.

Here is how to trigger the bug:

  1. Open the Export dialogue
  2. Undock it and dock it on the right
  3. Switch the theme

Result: All windows are hidden. After restart no windows are shown.

I actually prefer to have the Export dialog on the right, as having it on the bottom usually cuts of the log and the layout of it is more suitable for being vertical than horizontal.

This should be fixed in upcoming previews.
