Switch (Value Output Advanced)?

hey there,

i ran into problems related to using Switch (Value Output) more than once because its behaviour is to keep the former input value in its output-pins on changing the output switch.

i’m thinking about creating a plugin that returns the output-pin to a default value on changing the input switch. i just quickly made a simple demo trying to illustrate the intended behaviour:

two questions before i start doing this:

  • is there anything like this already? i guess i’m not the first person in the need for something similar.
  • any other thoughts regarding this?

not sure, if it’s really necessary to wrap that into a plugin.
it’s basically 3 nodes.
though i must admit, i never use switch output…

switch output has always given me issues based on its behaviour. I also never use it.
