Svg get anchor points

Hi,

is it possible to get the anchor points of a svg file?
Right now all I get is this (attached)

How can I read out the coordinates of the anchors?

alternatively of any path in illustrator? I already googled and found some scripts that write out XML files, but: the resulting coordinates are wrong.
