Special QT codecs

hi,
is there a way to force vvvv to use the real quicktime codecs (not the quicktime alternative one)

i’ve some quicktime .mov files

  • the first one is a blackmagic 10bit uncompressed file (need to install the blackmagic codec)
  • the second file is an HDproRes file (from the aja kipro recorder) same

both files can be read in the standard quicktime player but not in vlc
or media player

any tips

mmm short answer will be no
however everything we know is wrong…
wonder if we ever can play 64-bit color…

of course for a smooth playback with an uncompressed 10 Go / minute file
you’ll probably need a sata3 SSD hard drive.
