Sorting Spreads Math

Hey,

This patch is driving me crazy. Can anyone help? The very good new “Know your Spreads”-tutorial couldn’t get my brain around this Bin-Size-Chaos.

So I have points around in multiple CircularSpreads and want to connect them to form like a little sun, with rays going from center to the outside. The number of CircularSpreads is the resolution of the ray-lines.

So far so good. I manage to achieve that with manually zipping the CircularSpreads, but if I want to spread them I don’t know how reorder that.

Maybe you have an elegant idea? ;)

swap dim is ur answer
don’t forget to connect pairwise to ur linear spread binsize

Hi antokhio,

Thanks for the Tip with SwapDim, I’ll investigate this. But if I increase the LinearSpreads Count in your patch let’s say to 7, this is giving me strange connections…
