I find it often hard to spot pin related errors in patches could help if the related node is framed red as you do for other errors also

@sebl To be fair, it should be noted that sometimes even this does not help. I sometimes encounter situations where something is highlighted in red, but it is not visible against the background of the patch scale (one pin or a connection three pixels long), and the log window does not ‘jump’ to the location of the error. And sometimes it does jump, but it is not clear what is happening and where to look.

For example, in CAD for electronics design, there is a feature called DRC, which clearly shows where the error (or warning) is with an arrow.

I agree, sometimes its like Finding Waldo even when double clicking the error. Why not use a similar mechanism as when searching for stuff, but in red:

And when the error is in a link, please make the link like 3px wide.

Oh and as mentioned before, please use different shades of red in light and dark mode, so the contrast is better.
