Renderer doesnt render on japanese mini pc

i have a japanese windows and a mini-pc with an embedded graphics card. when creating a renderer (EX9), it stays grey and the tty renderer is flooded with the following error message

using beta9.0 with directx9.0c

same with 9a (3.9.2005). graphics card is a built in Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV
hmm. somehow a showstopper… any ideas?

beta8.1 works fine. joreg - did you caught the kalle gericom bug? i guess i will retrograde the infoterminals…
