Hi guys,
Is there a way to emit particles from a mesh/ file model?
I also be glad if anyone can guide me how to make feedback for particles.
Thanks,
Shaul

Thanks Raphael!
This tutorial by Takuma Nakata is excellent. The thing is that here the particles are bound to the model, while I was looking for a way they will be emitted out and get some noised motion. Something like amount emitter/probability emitter, but I can’t merge these two with the compute stage of the particles from the mesh. Not sure they can work together.
As for the feedback, I was looking for feeback of the particles to create a kind of trails fading. Maybe it can be achieved with texture feedback, but it seems that texture feedback works on large shapes transformations and not changing much on particles view.
You have to replace the compute stage by a emissionstage Node and a integration stage to set up your differente forces… Check the the help patch Emission Stage
And there is also a trail help patch… you can surely have an effect on the particle of that trail depending of there position
Raphael, Thanks a lot. Your suggestion gave me the right direction to handle it. I actually almost gave up, but the emission stage help patch paved the way to achieve it.
As for the trails, I didn’t managed to stich it to the model, but I found what I was looking for with the Example Use Blur in a texture feedback chain help patch.
Thanks
