MP3Parser does not read ID3 v2 tags

The documentation of MP3Parser claims:
reads out the ID3-tags from an mp3 file. Uses the v2 tags by default, but falling back to v1 tags

Actually it does not read any ID3v2 tag, just the v1 ones.
This is bad because for example iTunes uses v2 tags only.
Can anyone confirm this?

If it is a bug:
Any solution to this in sight?
Or any workaround?

i just did a little test and cannot confirm your findings. can you provide a sample file that shows erratic behaviour?

Hmm, I cannot reproduce this myself.
Don’t know what my mistake was.
