Midi mapping for 2 programs

Hello,

i want to midi map the same note into two programs to trigger sound and videoeffects via midi. I am working under 64bit Win7 and want to map to ableton and to vvvv.

The problem right now is that only one program can recieve midi. If i open ableton at first and vvvv as second program i can send midi only to ableton. If i open vvvv at first, only vvvv is able to recieve midi.

Am i doing something wrong?

If not, is there a program which can split the midi and can send two streams of one source?

… and of course you can also send midi to Ableton then from Ableton send OSC to vvvv, look in the contributions
