A feature that I miss in discourse is to be able to mark unread subjects as read. at least for now it is annoying to have over 500 posts as unread when I know I have read them all

Hi sunep,

if you go to your ‘unread’ tab, there is a ‘dismiss’ button on the top right which you can use to dismiss all unread messages.

yes, but there is also a text that says I will not receive updates on those anymore… will the subjects disappear or ?

That text has a checkbox, if you don’t check it, you should still be receiving notifications for those threads in the future.
