Make Switch (Boolean) part of the standard node set

Hi bonsoir,

What’s the rationale behind not having the Switch (Boolean) part of the standard node set? Find it weird that you have to enable “advanced” nodes to use it.

Would it be possible to have it there?

Yes, never understood that. It’s like one of the most basic operations you might do as a beginner and you use it all the time.

I completely agree. But just as a reminder for future generations, you can always enable “Enable Advanced aspect” and “Enable Experimental Aspect” in the Config Ctrl+F1. In that case, the Advanced and Experimental nodes will ALWAYS be available in the node browser.
