Leave the cascading menu open after removing a file dependency

Hey yall

This is a very tiny suggestion, but I’ve made 10 times a mental note everytime I hit it to report it once and for all, and today is the day! :)

When opening up old projects, I often find myself having to remove or replace a bunch of File Dependencies.
As of now, everytime you hit “Remove”, the whole cascading menu disappears.

I wish the whole cascading menu would stay as is, with just the line of that dependency removed from the list, so I could just go to the line below and Remove the next one, and do that one after the other in a row, instead of having to go the whole route of “ProjectFile > Dependencies > Files > MyNextDependency” again for each and every one to remove.

Voilà :)
Thanks for considering!

You can already remove multiple dependencies at once by right-clicking the “checkbox” next to them:

This also works when opening a patch with missing dependencies: check all of them with right-click and install them all at once.

Damn, another not-so-obvious secret!

Thanks for the pointers ;)

I’d actually wondered what the check boxes were for, but never found the use!

I second that, also it feels still weird that the chosen action is not visibly taken on the selected bulk, but the child menu strongly suggests it’s an action for the parent only.
Just to flag the UX problems here.

Still good to know, thanks!
