for displaying arbitrary pictures in vvvv i need the dimension information.
filetexture only understands some dimensions.
info (ex texture) works only with textures from within vvvv.
would it be hard to get a file-properties query from windows? this could be usefull regarding other details also …

yes no … you are right, it is the thumbs.db files that confuse filetexture and myself. sorry for the mess
