How to remove a specific slice? (Updated: Mouse Cursor goes haywire after deleting slices)

Hello,

I would like to find out how do i remove slices from two linear spreads? I understand that there’s the deleteslices node but am unsure of how to go about using it and where to connect it to?

I’ve attached my patch as a reference.

Any help will be appreciated!

in the patch attached you don’t make it clear where exactly you’d want to remove a slice.

well, but where do you want to remove them?
i can only assume that you want to put a DeleteSlice (Transform) between the Transform and the Quad. right?

yes thats right and thats what i did! I somehow managed to remove them! thank you! but now my mouse cursor goes haywire.

do you know how i can resolve this?

well, you removed the slices only from the spread that goes into the Quad, but not from the spread that goes into the Button, see?

yes i connected the output of the deleteslice to the button and now it works! thank you!
