How can I store an image with some details to an excel file

i need to store some images and some data in a new Excel sheet, i tried looking at this (Excel to XDocument - wip - Forum) but, can’t figure out how to

not out of the box. but there seem to be .NET libraries out there with which something like this could be realized.
