Hi, I am tyring to get my AKAI AMX to work properly with VVVV, it’s a pretty nice controller, but it uses high resolution midi to communicate. Looking at the output of one of the knobs in MIDI-OX I can see that there are more then a single midi message being sent:
00148148 1 – B0 07 5E 1 — CC: Volume
00148148 1 – B0 27 25 1 — Control Change
00148153 1 – B0 07 61 1 — CC: Volume
00148153 1 – B0 27 17 1 — Control Change
00148158 1 – B0 07 63 1 — CC: Volume
00148158 1 – B0 27 6A 1 — Control Change
00148168 1 – B0 07 66 1 — CC: Volume
00148168 1 – B0 27 4A 1 — Control Change
0014816D 1 – B0 07 69 1 — CC: Volume
0014816E 1 – B0 27 13 1 — Control Change
00148178 1 – B0 07 6B 1 — CC: Volume
00148178 1 – B0 27 4D 1 — Control Change
00148183 1 – B0 07 6D 1 — CC: Volume
00148183 1 – B0 27 7D 1 — Control Change
0014818D 1 – B0 07 70 1 — CC: Volume
0014818E 1 – B0 27 24 1 — Control Change
00148198 1 – B0 07 72 1 — CC: Volume
Obviously this gets interpreted by VVVV as the value jumping up and down as the fader, or knob is turned. Has anyone created any patches that help to use these newer controllers with such output?
