Hardware recommendation

Hello happy vvvv users,

I plan to change my PC laptop for live VJ perfotmances and I have a couple questions about the config.

  1. What kind of RAM is recommended? I guess 2Go is a minimum
  2. Are GF 7 gfx cards enough or is it really better to choose a GF 8? (I badly need highest PS & VS)
  3. Can I choose Vista without any problem or is XP Pro still better?
  4. Does anybody have other secret tricks about hardware to improve perf (and avoid crashes ;]
