how can i change the editing points in the attached thing in a way yo place them at the edges of the teapot…

ok will check when get home, but normally you just do spread of vectors and do + to points…
here you go:
*m - pres and hold to move in screenspace
*v/c/x - pres and hold translate/rotate/scale tagged - lmouse x, midmouse y, rmouse z
*t - pres and hold to tag (you can’t move untagged points)
*t+s/t+d select/deselect all
