Im trying gaussian splatting with the last repo, I did use a this software to build my data… https://www.jawset.com/
I ve got a first decent try … export the ply file and try to open it with the patch example but nothing happend… I hit the :”read” button but nothing …
Ive 3 option into the importSetting relate to the model Profile.. Splat3 / SplatMCMC / Splat ADC …Maybe something related to this?

I’ve used jawset, and just exported the default I think, and it worked fine, but its a few months since I’ve done it (I see there is a new version out) and can’t find my postshot projects… and indeed the vl patches I made don’t like the new fuse.

I just tried to import my export file on polycam website, and download back the file in ply….
And now I can used it… I wondering if there a conversion somewhere… Its weird..
It could that it needs a binary or plain text file, and your export changes it from 1 to the other?
@catweasel maybe, and no the file is the same, Seems to have a litlle compression because the file is slightly smaller in size…
Just to add some info, Scaniverse app works out of the box.
