Firewire Cam not working in VVVV

Hi, i have 2 cams, one USB , one IEEE 1394. The USB one is working, the “1394 Desktop Video Camera” driver does not show an video stream with the default settings on VideoIn (DShow 9) in the sample BackgroundSuppression help.v4p

However with DirectShow in C++/OpenCv the cam is working fine. Any idea how to get the videoIn working in VVVV?

Edit: So to mention the camera is a DFW-X700 Sony IEEE-1394 Firewire. I try to run it without the USB Cam attached to the PC simultaneously.
