Hey recently there are these warnings about uninitialized pads all over the place. When pressing SPACE you can read that you can either ignore it or send a value on Create into it.
Now I was thinking that we should have an easy way to do that. Maybe when exposing a value using middle-click or Alt, we could directly assign it to Create when also pressing Shift or so?
If I understood correctly, the way you are describing it would end up with the connection from Zoom to the node being assigned to Create. Which in most cases is probably not what you want and also won’t get rid of the warning. You need to feed a value into the pad, e.g. connect a float io box to the “input” of the pad and assign that connection to Create.
No, I mean that when I create an IOBox to the top (by middle-clicking or releasing the mouse when pressing Alt), I could press a modifier (for example Shift) and the link from the new IOBox to the pad would be automatically assigned to Create.
