Duplicate with new name

Hey all,

Imagine you want to create a new class/process node based on an existing one. Currently, you would use CTRL + C and CTRL + V, encounter an error due to duplication, and then rename the newly created item.

It would be great to have a “duplicate with new name” shortcut (such as CTRL + SHIFT + C) that opens a popup where you can specify the new name for the duplicated item. Once confirmed, it would paste the copied item with the new name.

Clearly not urgent but still cool.

There is also CTRL + D for duplicate. CTRL + SHIFT + D is already taken for duplicating with connections but maybe alternatively CTRL + ALT + D?

sounds like the clone feature from beta.

wouldn’t a shortcut for clone on paste be nicer?
e.g. copy from a help / demo patch or lib and clone into another document.
