Depth track volume and size with kinect - what do I need?

Hi,

I haven’t been here for a long time and would like to use V4 for a recent project. But I don’t know how easy it is to accomplish (I guess very easy, but I would like to know from you)

I want to depth-track an object upon a plain, white plate in order to get its volume dimensions in mm or cm (length, width and height).

-Which kinect-node do I need to get this data?
-Do I have to install some specific kinect drivers as well?
-Which kinect version is needed?

thanks for pointing to the right page.
Actually I found the ((contribution:dx11.pointcloud)) page, which reads promising and found external source about measuring real world dimensions (cm, mm) with kinect.
