I uninstalled the older versions and cleanedup the old installation folders via Gamma Launcher.
Then after installing the latest preview - 7.0-369 - I am not able to launch it!
Also tested with:
7.0-369
7.0-366
7.0-365
7.0-364
7.0-363
and no luck!
@Elias mentioned on element that it might be related to a dotnet x86 installation.
Running a dotnet --info does not show any x86 architecture!
Any hints?
Yo,
Does the Windows Event Log give you something when it fails to launch? Do you get anything relevant if you launch vvvv.exe with --log
and check the generated log file?

Jo,
Nope! I guess it crashes even before that!

Did you try uninstalling .NET 9 and re-install .NET 8 SDK?

had a chance to remote into that PC and found this “Catastrophic failure” reported by the Windows App Runtime:
what fixed the issue is uninstalling the Windows App Runtime entries:
then simply reinstalling vvvv, which installs the correct Windows App Runtime again.
so unfortunately still unclear what caused the apparent breaking of the Windows App Runtime, but in case someone stumbles up this, the above should help.
