question - i need to get the weight of a person for a projekt with vvvv. Does anybody know a balace with a rs232 data interface? Should be as cheap as possible (as always). Does anybody have some experience with something like that?

Professional scales usually do have an rs232 interface. for exampleSartorius provide the full description of the protocol on their web page.
a cheaper solution could be using person scales for wellness and fitness. some googling revealed products by tanita for example. should be possible to get at ebay.
