Average Color from image or kinect or webcam

Dear Devvvvs,
i want to ask how to extract range of color or average of color from image or from camera feed.

i try to use kinect player and blend it with rgb(so i only have color from the person) and use pipet to know the color, but the result is not correct.

can you guys give me hint or ways to do it?
