Join and organize meetups on MobilizonJust downloaded AMCAP to make sure everything was fine, and it had trouble at first, it asked me to go to Options, TV Tuner, it was not responding at first, then I clicked on the format, and it seemed to stabilize. AMCap starts fine now and shows all three capture sources fine (tuner, s-video and composite)
I think it’s something to do with the card not switching formats.
When I go to the stream properties and click on the video decoder while it’s running in AMCap it says Signal Detected: 1, which is good, and Lines detected 625, which is also good. VVVV doesn’t detect a good signal, and lines detected is 25, or someother low number…
Ah, just figured it out, the card needs to be initialized with the correct format settings FIRST. I created a patch with the correct settings, PAL, 720x576, then saved, and reverted to saved and presto the image is fine.
